2025 Marching Band Handbook 2025 Band Camp Schedule 2025 Payment Schedule
Summer & Fall Semester
Marching band begins before the school year with mini-camps (sectionals) and a multi-day full band camp. Sectionals are required if students are in town, and the students are responsible for arranging transportation to and from sectionals. The band's continued success is contingent upon what is covered at camp, so students must attend these camps. It should be noted that this band requires after-school rehearsals and most Saturdays during the Fall Semester.
To maintain proper balance within the ensemble, students who do not attend band camp or are found to be struggling after band camp will be given a shared position. Try to schedule vacation and other plans during June to avoid schedule conflicts.
Spring Semester
Marching Band transitions to the indoor bands after the marching season ends. Symphonic Band and also Jazz Band & Wind Ensemble (by audition).
Parades
Marching band will reassemble for the Veterans Day Parade, Parade of Lights, and Lions Club Parade, all mandatory events. They may perform at other events as well (Homecoming, Independence Day, etc..)
